Decyfer Down is a hard rock Christian band who’s debut album, released in June of 2006, was called End of Grey. It’s a pretty good record (my little brother went to their concert and got his copy of their album signed), even though they’re sound stays the same throughout. I particularly like the songs: Break Free, Burn Back the Sun, Walking Dead, Life Again and Vanity. You can listen to some songs on Decyfer Down’s myspace page.
They are not shy at all to talk about their faith in Christ. Check them out by clicking on these links: Decyfer Down Interview 1 (click on the video button furthest to left, it’ll say the band name), Decyfer Down Interview 2.
And check out this crazy story from their Decyfer Down myspace blog. Good thing they didn’t actually get arrested! Read it below: (more…)

Here is a nice interview with Mike Huckabee by U.S. News & World Report. Huckabee is a US Presidential Candidate on the Republican side who, in my opinion, has the strongest Christian values focus (he is a Baptist minister). He’s also a hilarious guy and a very good speaker.
To keep an eye on Mike Huckabee and all things that are happening with him, take a look at the Mike Huckabee myspace page and become his friend or subscribe to his blog.
By the way, this does not mean that I have endorsed Mike Huckabee as President (yet . . .). I am still undecided as far as who I will be voting for and so far I have an interest in: John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney, and of course Mike Huckabee.

Here’s a preview of Jesus Camp. Speaking in tongues, weeping for salvation, praying for an end to abortion and worshipping a picture of President Bush — these are some of the activities at Pastor Becky Fischer’s Bible camp in North Dakota, “Kids on Fire,” subject of the provocative new documentary, “Jesus Camp.”
“I want to see them as radically laying down their lives for the gospel as they are in Palestine, Pakistan and all those different places,” Fisher said. “Because, excuse me, we have the truth.” Have a look at the video:
This Jesus Camp trailer really shows how these sub-religions can be just as dangerous as the Islam suicide bombers, when you hear the Christians shouting “How many of you would want to be those who give up their lives for Jesus?” followed by the kids happily shouting “yeah!” It’s disturbing to watch.

Christian Music Today had the awesome opportunity to interview John Cooper, the lead singer of Christian mega-band Skillet, who’s 2003 Collide album (Skillet’s 6th album, though band members have changed dramtically over the years) rocketed the band to seeming over-night success, both in the Christian as well as the secular realm, with popular radio hits like Savior, Open Wounds and A Little More. Now the band has a new album coming out, called Comatose, releasing on Oct. 3rd.
