New church program for kids made easy
Gospel Publishing House has announced the release of its new children’s program, HighPoint. Developed as a program churches can use “anytime,” HighPoint teaches Christian character traits and helps kids apply them to their lives.
“One of the things that makes HighPoint so unique is its versatility,” says Julie Horner, GPH Research and Development Manager. “You choose where to use it, when to use it and what order to use the kits — you call the shots. Of course, leaders and helpers will also love how easy it is to prepare and present each lesson.”
Horner says Highpoint is designed to be used in settings such as midweek services, Sunday mornings, neighborhood outreaches, children’s church — wherever children gather. Maybe that’s a large outreach or a small church with just a handful of elementary-age kids.
“Kids are drawn to HighPoint,” Horner explains. “High-energy fun, heart-centered worship, discovery-based learning — it’s what makes learning exciting for kids. Best of all, God changes kids’ lives through HighPoint.”
The first set of five lessons, “Good Anger, Bad Anger,” helps children deal properly with their frustrations, and is now ready to order. The next set of lessons, “Respect” and “Overcoming Disappointment,” are already in process and will be available soon.
