Anti-porn ministry gives out Jesus Loves Porn Stars Bibles
One of the hottest items at this weekend’s Erotica LA pornography show is a Bible with a cover that says “Jesus Loves Porn Stars.” The Reverend J.R. Mahon (yes, a man) of Triple-X Church says his anti-porn ministry handed out its entire stock of 3,300 Bibles on the first day of the three-day show.
Mahon acknowledges that convention-goers do a double-take when they see his ministry’s booth and Bibles with the unusual covers. He says that gives him a chance to tell people in the business that Jesus loves them and offers an escape and a fresh start to those who want out.
Mahon says the Bibles were printed by NavPress after the American Bible Society decided it couldn’t fill the order.
Their site has the sneakiest way to attrackt people looking for porn, their title says “#1 Christian Pron Site” and then when you get to the site it tells you to stop looking at pron. That’s pretty funny!
